  We contacted them on Dec 28,2017 and asked if they had 2 properties still available and explained why we wanted these 2 properties and we told that they were still available and had no other current interests. With this information we submitted the application that night. Kept in touch with them everyday that they were open and was told they were working on our application but they were having computer issues. We called them Jan 5, 2018 (8 days later) and they told us they rented it to someone on Jan 3,2017. The real kicker is they pulled a hard hit on my credit history on Jan 4,2018, after they had already rented it because they thought they could find another place for us. The problem is that we were gonna rent a house that had been split into two completely separate living areas so my grandma could have her independence but would we would be literally 10 feet from her. They never checked with us and when i asked why they ran my credit report on a property i did not want without checking with me first they had no answer and didn't even apologize. They then told me that they only did a soft hit and i told them that was a lie and i had a copy of my credit report to prove it they offered to refund our application fee. I asked them about removing the inquiry from my credit history and they said they couldn't. After posting about this on my personal facebook page i had multiple people comment telling me of their issues with them. Please stay away and take your money elsewhere.

  We reluctantly became landlords when I was transferred. We tried using several other management companies, but Beaufort Rentals was the only one that responded quickly and took time to explain everything. We've been using them for 5 years now and have never had a problem. They are always quick to deal with minor maintenance and contact us to arrange for major repairs. They have helped us protect the home during the last two storms. When the home went vacant they found a new Tennant within a week. The office staff is always helpful and understanding. When we have financial questions Patricia is always happy to help.

  I have reached out to this company on several occasions asking questions about different rental properties and have only received automated responses telling me how to schedule showings, which also does not work correctly. I am a homeless, disabled veteran, and some communication from a real individual would be appreciated. It must be hard to rent out properties when you don't respond to potential tenants.
